Ferro alloys for steelmaking and foundry applications.
Ferrochrome, ferromanganese, silicomanganese and ferrosilicon from established producers for steel mills and foundries.
Small volumes, critical quality.
Ferro alloys are added in small quantities but determine the strength, hardness and corrosion resistance of steel. Consistent chemistry and sizing are essential, and supply is concentrated in a limited number of producing countries.
We source from established producers in key origins and verify chemistry, sizing and packing before shipment, with independent inspection at loading.
Typical products and grades.
Final specifications are agreed per contract and confirmed by independent inspection.
| Product | Typical specification | Main uses |
|---|---|---|
| High-carbon ferrochrome | Cr 60% to 70%, C 6% to 8% | Stainless steel |
| Low-carbon ferrochrome | Cr 60% min, C 0.1% max | Special and stainless steels |
| High-carbon ferromanganese | Mn 75% to 78% | Carbon steel |
| Silicomanganese | Mn 65%, Si 16% to 17% | Deoxidation and alloying |
| Ferrosilicon | Si 72% to 75% | Deoxidation, foundry, electrical steel |
Sizing, packing (big bags or bulk) and trace elements are agreed per contract.
Bankable terms, verified at every step.
Every contract is structured so that title, documents and payment move together, protecting both sides of the transaction.
- Incoterms 2020: FOB, CFR, CIF, FCA, DAP and CIF ASWP, agreed per contract and port.
- Payment: irrevocable documentary letters of credit issued or confirmed by recognised banks, standby letters of credit and documentary collections.
- Inspection: quality and quantity certified at loading by internationally recognised inspection companies such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or Alex Stewart.
- Documents: commercial invoice, full set of bills of lading, certificates of origin, quality and weight, packing list and insurance where applicable.
- Compliance: full KYC on both counterparties and sanctions screening of parties, vessels and routes before contract signature.
